Send pre-composed emails: With services like Anthropic’s Email skill, you can save draft emails in your account that Alexa can then send with a short voice command like “Alexa, send the update email.” These pre-written emails are drafted and stored in the connected email app.
Send brief messages: Alexa also allows creating and sending very short emails or text messages on the fly just by dictating the recipient, subject, and brief message content. For example, you could say “Alexa, email John about dinner tonight, we’re meeting at 7.” Alexa will then send a message with just that information.
Read incoming emails aloud: With access to your email accounts, Alexa can read the sender, subject line, and full content of new messages for you. This lets you stay up to date while on the go or busy with other tasks.
