SPREAD THE LOVE...

Writing an essay does not need to be difficult or stressful. With some planning and organization, anyone can learn to type essays easily and efficiently. Here are some simple tips and techniques to help make writing essays a breeze:

Pick an Appropriate Topic
The first step is choosing a topic that interests you and is suitable for the assigned essay. Picking something engaging will make researching and writing the essay much more enjoyable. If given options, select a topic you already have some basic knowledge of so you don’t have to start completely from scratch. You’ll find it much easier to type up an essay on a subject you care about learning more about.

Create an Outline
Once you have your topic, develop an outline to map out the structure of your essay before beginning to type. A strong outline ensures the essay has a clear flow and covers all the key points. It also allows you to organize your thoughts and allocate where information should go. Common essay outlines include an introduction, 3 body paragraphs with supporting evidence or examples, and a conclusion. Always review the essay prompt and outline to make sure all requirements are met.

Conduct Research Efficiently
Gather research from credible sources such as online academic databases, bookmarked websites, and books. Jot down any useful quotes, facts, or concepts on notecards or in a document as you go. Be selective about what to include – only use information clearly relevant to supporting your thesis. Save longer articles or book chapters for later if they contain useful information. Organize research notes by typing each on a separate notecard labeled with the source for easy reference while writing.

Write the Introduction Paragraph
Begin by typing your introductory paragraph, which should hook the reader with an interesting statement, background on the topic, and a clear thesis stating your argument. The introduction sets up what the rest of the paper will discuss. Keep it relatively brief at just 2-3 sentences maximum per component for an easy to follow opening.

Complete Body Paragraphs
Time to flesh out your main points with full paragraphs using the research gathered. Each body paragraph should have a topic sentence stating the point being made, evidence and/or examples from research to prove that point, and analysis of how it relates back to the thesis. Type a new paragraph for each main argument or piece of evidence, separating them with blank lines for readability. Flow from one point to the next logically.

Craft the Conclusion
The conclusion wraps everything up neatly in a few typed paragraphs. Briefly paraphrase the main points covered without simply copying earlier sentences. Then conclude with a final statement that ties it all back to why your thesis is important. Once complete, your essay content is typed!

Edit Thoroughly
Set aside time after finishing your first full draft to thoroughly proofread and edit what you have typed. Check for grammatical errors, typos, inconsistent formatting, poor wording, and places needing clarification or expansion. Be objective to strengthen it where possible before submission. Have peers also review and offer feedback to catch anything you may have missed while proofreading.

With some preparation and following the basic essay structure, writing papers does not need to involve stressful all-nighters or complicated typing. Anyone can learn to easily produce quality written works by starting with a clear outline, doing efficient research, and taking the time for thoughtful composition and careful editing. Proper planning eliminates a great deal of potential pressure and makes for hassle-free essay writing.
