Each criterion on the rubric is scored on a 5-point scale with specific descriptors for unacceptable, acceptable, good, and excellent performance. Faculty aim to provide constructive feedback identifying both strengths and areas for improvement. The four scores are averaged to determine the letter grade for the capstone using Walden’s grading scale of A=4.0, B=3.0, C=2.0. A minimum overall average score of 3.0 is required to pass. If scoring is below this, the project is returned for revisions and re-evaluation.
