Logging into Your Ultius Account to View Orders
As a customer of Ultius, one of the key functions you will likely need to utilize regularly is viewing the status and details of any orders you have placed. This allows you to track the progress of your writing projects and ensure everything is on schedule. Viewing orders is a simple process that only requires logging into your Ultius account.
To get started, you will first need to go to the Ultius website at www.ultius.com. At the top right of the homepage, you will see a link that says “Log In”. Click on this link to access the login page. On this page, you will enter the email address and password you used to create your Ultius account. Once entered, click the “Log In” button.
After logging in, you will be taken to your Ultius dashboard homepage. Here you will find various account management options across the top navigation bar such as “Orders”, “Messages”, “Profile”, etc. To view your order details, click on the “Orders” link. This will take you to your Orders page.
On the Orders page, you will see a table listing all orders you have placed with Ultius, whether they are in progress, completed, or pending payment. The table includes key details about each order such as the order ID number, date placed, deadline, current status, and total cost. You can sort the table by any of these categories by clicking on the column headings.
To view full details of a specific order, click on the order ID link. This will open an order overview page dedicated to that individual order. Here you can find granular information about the project including:
Basic order details (ID, date, deadline, status)
Paper and formatting specifications (subject, type, length, style, etc.)
Project instructions – any guidelines or files attached for the writer.
Writer assigned – shows the profile of the writer working on your project.
Order timeline – breakdown of order processing steps and estimated dates.
Messages – link to access any messages exchanged about the order.
Payments – status of payments and order total cost.
File uploads – links to download completed files or draft versions if in progress.
From this detailed view, you can check order progress by monitoring changes in status dates and file versions over time. You also have quick access to messaging the writer or Ultius support if any issues arise.
Additionally, you can filter the orders listing on the main Orders page to focus only on certain status types. Useful filters include:
In Progress – shows orders currently being written.
Pending Payment – identifies orders awaiting payment before starting.
Completed – finds orders that have been fully finished and paid for.
Draft – isolates orders where a draft was submitted before final version.
Regularly checking your order status through the Ultius dashboard allows you to stay on top of deadlines and proactively address any problems if writing timelines are at risk of slipping. It provides transparency into the management of each project.
Exporting Order Details
For record-keeping purposes, Ultius also allows users to export order data out of the system. This can be useful if you need to provide order records to an institution or simply want an offline version for your own files.
To export order details, click on the “Export Orders” link located below the orders table on the main Orders page. You will then be able to filter the export by status, date range, or specific order IDs using the provided fields. Select your desired filters and click “Export”.
This will generate a downloadable .CSV (comma separated values) file containing all the field data for the matching orders. The exported file includes many of the key details visible on individual order overview pages such as order and paper specifics, messages, timestamps, and more.
Now you have a standalone digital copy of your Ultius order history in a universally readable spreadsheet format. The exported data does not include any files or instructions attachments, just the core structured order metadata.
Managing Order Notifications
The Ultius dashboard also allows users to configure email notifications regarding order status changes. Being alerted to updates can help ensure you are kept promptly informed of writing progress and important project milestones are not missed.
To access notification settings, click on your username dropdown located in the top right and select “Notification Settings”. Here you can individually enable/disable email alerts for a variety of order events such as:
Order placement confirmation
Writer assignment
Draft submission
Order completion
Order cancellation
Missed deadline
You also choose the preferred notification frequency for completed or past due orders (daily, weekly etc.). Saving your notification preferences means Ultius will automatically send status emails according to the configured rules going forward.
This offers another easy way to stay on top of your writing projects through the Ultius website without needing to constantly check order statuses manually in your account. Timely alerts help ensure deadlines are not overlooked by either party.
